Effect of use of methyltriethylamonium chloride individually and combined with n-butylamine on the characteristics of the ZSM-12 zeolite crystallization process

The improvement of the structure ZSM-12 zeolite has been extensively studied, due to its shape selectivity properties, acidity and hydrothermal stability, with this being used in a wide range applications, such as adsorbent, ion exchanger important reactions petrochemical area. In work, effect on crystallization characteristics physicochemical properties using methyltriethylammonium chloride, individually, combined n-butylamine, structure-directing agent was studied. syntheses were carried out at 160 170 °C between 48 144 h static medium. samples obtained characterized by techniques X-ray diffraction, thermal analysis, nitrogen adsorption-desorption temperature-programmed ammonia desorption. simultaneous use chloride ratio 0.2, promoted obtainment highly crystalline ZSM-12, an increase microporous area acidity, denoting zeolite.
